Dr. Burrell is an innovative leader with more than 30 years of experience in secondary and higher education settings. She has co-directed a professional development grant serving hundreds of teachers across New York State. Her research and teaching interests include investigating teaching mathematics through technology. Dr. Burrell has over 19 publications on teaching, comparative culture, new technologies, and the meaning of learning in a globalized world. She has taught educational assessment, foundations of education, mathematics methods, comparative education and a variety of mathematics courses before the calculus.
